Motivated Investor Group currently owns one restaurant in Fort Lee, New Jersey that serves healthy traditional Korean tofu cuisine. We are looking for a manager with the possibility of becoming an equity partner to help manage the day to day, and to be able to communicate openly with ABC Hospitality Group ownership on a scheduled weekly meeting. We are looking for someone who has prior experience from either running their own restaurant or as a manager. Our goal is to be able to work with you to continue opening new restaurant throughout NYC and Long Island. All new hospitality ideas are welcome. Pay scale will start between $85-95,000.00 per year. After three months of probation period, you will be eligible for health insurance. The biggest opportunity is the possibility of becoming an equity partner or profit share.
Manager’s Duties:
1. Make sure correct quantities of ingredients for the kitchen are ordered.
2. In charge of hiring, letting go, and training staff members.
3. Keep clean records of all income and expenses.
4. Be able to communicate well with all staff and customers with a smile.
5. Make sure the restaurant(s) are following, and are compliant with all Department regulations. (Sanitation)
6. Has a clear communication line with the ownership entity.
7. Business Development via social media and local media.
Manager’s skills and knowledge needed:
1. Must be good with computer so that basic skills of POS can be utilized.
2. Must have basic math skills to be able to keep clean records of income and expenses.
3. Ability to problem solve with all situations that arises within the restaurant.
4. Visual ability to sense and detect signs of emotional situations.
5. Have a cordial attitude towards clients and staff.
6. Will need the ability to stand around for 8 hours/day.
7. High School diploma equivalent.
8. Bi-lingual Korean and English is preferred.
