LSP USA is seeking skilled and innovative Robotics Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing image processing and machine control software for vision inspection systems in battery cell manufacturing, with a focus on integrating machine vision software with robotic hardware platforms to enhance automation and precision. You will implement advanced algorithms for o ect detection, tracking, and recognition, and fine-tune vision-based perception systems for inspection robots to ensure accuracy and performance.
Job Description
• Design and develop imaging processing and machine control software for vision inspection systems used in battery cell manufacturing, focusing on tasks such as thickness measurement, surface quality assessment, and detecting damaged cells.
•Develop and implement algorithms for o ect detection, tracking, and recognition using advanced machine vision techniques.
• Integrate machine vision software with robotic hardware platforms to enhance automation and precision in manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Develop and fine-tune vision-based perception systems for inspection robots, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of vision-based algorithms in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Troubleshoot issues related to vision perception, sensor fusion, and communication between software and hardware components.
• Create user manuals, usage instructions, and maintenance guidelines for machine vision software to support end users and maintenance teams.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB, and experience with image processing libraries like OpenCV.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) for developing vision-based algorithms.
• Strong skills in real-time system integration, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, and automation engineers).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to create technical documentation and user manuals.
